Royal Botania’s Innovative Anamon and Solaz Umbrellas

Anamon inverts the typical parasol – blossoming open upwards from within its stem.

Anamon Umbrella

When closed, Anamon doesn’t look like an umbrella at all, with its components hidden within its minimalist form. Only when the mechanism is engaged does it reveal its full potential –unfolding in a smooth, surprising gesture.

Opening from the inside out and the top down, Anamon cleverly conceals its complexity. Everything – from the canopy to the mechanics – is hidden within its sleek vertical column.

At the turn of a handle, the parasol seamlessly unfolds with a theatrical reveal, while the inner workings remain discreetly hidden. Call it organic engineering, inspired by the fluid, natural motion of tube-dwelling anemones.

When Anamon is not in use, the top cap clicks effortlessly into place, providing a sleek, polished finish plus an LED garden light with 3 brightness levels. The cap protects the mechanism from rain, dust and debris – an especially useful feature in wet climates or during winter. Any water that does find its way inside is directed out through a discreet drainage system at the base – no build-up or mess.

The Solaz stands out with its wing-like opening system, extending smoothly to offer coverage.

Solaz Parasol

Designed by Dirk Wynants and engineered by Kris Van Puyvelde, the Solaz parasol combines elegance, innovation, and ease of use. This high-end overhang parasol provides ample shade, making it a key addition to any luxurious outdoor space. The Solaz stands out with its wing-like opening system, extending smoothly to offer coverage. It tilts, pivots and rotates fully, adapting to the sun’s position for all-day comfort. Despite its size, it’s simple to operate, ensuring shade is both practical and refined.
